Reference: Advertised for sale at The Fair, price $19.95 with matching necklace and earrings, in the Fort Worth [TX] Star-Telegram, 12 Nov 1939, p 35; click thumbnail above to view advertisement. The series name 'Regence' was reported in Women's Wear Daily, 28 July 1939, p 11, 'copies of French paste court jewelry... very formal evening jewelry in flower designs, with moveable "shimmering" blossoms which catch and reflect the light'. Patent (for the matching necklace) is reproduced below (scroll down); designer A Philippe, filed July, granted Sept 1939.
