Patent is reproduced below (scroll down); designer Willard Markle, filed Jan, granted March 1941. Brunialti, American Costume Jewelry - Art and Industry (2008) Vol 1, p 76 - Castlecliff sued FW Woolworth and others to enforce their design patent in 1941.
