Reference: Patent is reproduced below (scroll down); designer F. J. Gargano of Providence RI, dated 1946-47. Roberto Brunialti communicates that this was advertised in Womens Wear Daily 19 July 1946, manufactured for or by Anita Eshay Fair Sex Jewels, founded recently before. This confirms Gargano was a freelance designer (also working for Carman etc)
