Description: gold plated sterling, rhinestones, enamelling
Marked: Sterling Corocraft
Reference: M. Dolan, Collecting Rhinestone and Coloured Jewelry, p. 194. Brunialti, American Costume Jewelry, pp. 81-82, set advertised in Mademoiselle magazine, Oct 1945, as 'Friendship'. Patent is reproduced below (scroll down); designer Adolph Katz, dated 1944. This is a much larger version than the pin clip usually seen.
