Description: rhodium plated base metal, rhinestones, faux turquoise and lapis cabochons
Marked: Boucher C (all), earrings also marked Boucher on clips, and 6937
Reference: Schiffer, Best of Costume Jewelry (1996), p. 94, pictured (in red), dated 1960s with guide price. The pin is a variant on the pin with stem, which is usually marked with a serial number giving a date of 1957; the earrings serial number also dates this to 1957. Our thanks to Roberto Brunialti for sorting out the dates of the Boucher serial numbers, and generously sharing the information.
